It’s day six of the A to Z Challenge!

Today we have:

F is for Fancy Dragon

Ah, back to cuteness.  This Fancy Dragon is by American deviantartist xXkollyXx.  I think he’s adorably fancy, don’t you?

The artist said she was inspired by the song “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” originally by Irving Berlin, but made popular in modern times with the 1983 version by the band Taco.

Check out the video below.  I had heard the song before, of course, but hadn’t ever seen the video… It’s fun, but kinda creepy too.

There are reportedly two versions of this video, and this is the second (non-offensive) one, because the first version has been banned for showing actors in blackface throughout.  Yikes!

But getting back to xXkollyXx’s adorable art, she also did a great Fancy Time tiger.

And finally, if I haven’t creeped you out enough today with the Puttin’ on the Ritz video, xXkollyXx also did a terrifying picture of a Spider Alligator that I won’t post here, but I dare you to click that link and give yourself nightmares! 🙂
