Tonight we have three vastly different dragons done by a single artist, all three of which are spectacular, and even better for the contrasting styles. This first one is called Nature Inspired by deviantartist Sara Lyn, posting as SaraLynArt. This Chinese-style dragon was a contest entry from 2014, and Sara Lyn was tasked to draw an image representing her Artistic Journey.
This next one is a more monster/European-style dragon called, simply, Dragon:
Even with nothing around to base my perception on, I feel like this dragon, with his armoured chest and bat-like head and ear fins, would be huge, and a force to be reckoned with.
Finally, we have Sara Lyn’s next piece, called Forest Dragon. I don’t know if it’s the combination of coloring and feathered wings, or the surrounding green foliage, or what, but this dragon reminds me a little of the Mesoamerican dragon Quetzalcoatl.
All right, that brings us to the end of our world tour of dragons with Sara Lyn. You can see more of her gallery here.
I found a really cool (and relevant to tomorrow’s plans) image and artist for tomorrow, so stay tuned, and I hope to have something exciting to share with you later in the week as well! But I don’t want to jinx it, so now I’ll just say goodnight. Thanks for reading everyone, take care and stay creative!
