Let’s keep meandering through the April AtoZ Challenge 2018 with this adorable River Dragon by American deviantartist Malena, posting as DragonScribblez.
As one of her fans commented, this dragon has such a dynamic pose, can’t you just feel the energy bubbling in him? This artist just recently changed her deviantart handle to DragonScribblez (she used to go by ShadowCrow) and she captions this one:
This cute little dragon was so fun to draw! A baby dragon swimming with tadpoles? Adorable! I originally designed her for a contest but now she’s just one of my sweet painting examples that took quite a while to do, ( I’m so nit-picky ) but totally worth it!
You can find more dragons, including some in the Wings of Fire style (suddenly it’s everywhere, how did I miss this??) like Tywill and Glorious Gloom, and a Magma Dragon ink sketch, in her gallery.
I’m keeping it simple this year with my theme of “Odds and Ends Dragons” — amazing artwork by artists I’ve come across in past searches, but wasn’t able to find a spot for at the time. Read more at my Theme Post.
All of these AtoZ posts should appear around 9:05 AM CT (-5 GMT) each day Monday through Saturday. For even more dragons, check out my 2016 and 2017 posts!
Thanks for reading, take care, and stay creative!

Yep. Also the expression reminds me of my feline furkid’s “What, I’m not doing anything!” face. 😉 Thanks for stopping!
